It's a girl!

So we went to the 3D clinic this morning to finally find out what we are having and it is a girl! I thought for sure it was a boy and Gabe thought it was a girl, so he won. I was excited no matter what but having another girl is great! As of right now her name will be Mercedes unless something else comes up. Only 8 more weeks!

So here we are in LA! We decided to work an extra month so we will be in LA until the end of the month. I really enjoyed Portland for the last 4 months but it is always nice to move on. I was a little nervous to come to LA but I actually really like it. Our apartment is great and the weather has been perfect! Swimming has been a daily activity since the weather has been great and Kayla loves it! The first time swimming here Gabe was able to join us and I have complained to him how hard it is to take Kayla swimming because she thinks she can swim and gets annoyed when you are holding her so it takes alot out of you! So after Gabe experienced the same thing he suggested that we buy her one of those floating swimsuits so we did and it was the best purchase. After a half an hour Kayla had it down and was on her own. Here is a clip!

International Rose Garden

So we went to check out the Portland Rose Garden and it was absolutely beautiful! I never knew there were so many varieties of roses. Heather and I also had a great time there having a little photo shoot! We took lots of pictures of roses obviously and some cute pictures of Heather's little boy Ezra.

So this is definately going to be a challenge for me because I don't consider my self very creative or skilled in photography but that is why I wanted to do it! So here is my first photos and I know they are not technically black and white but I just love them!

Bungee Jumping

Well, we had a pretty exciting weekend! The office went bungee jumping! I had no intention of going but wanted to just go and watch but it just looked like too much fun!! It was really funny watching these grown men screaming like little girls! So cute!

Kayla and I decided to head up to BC to visit my mom for a few days while she was in Chilliwack and my cousin Anthony was also leaving for his mission so we had a chance to see him off as well.
